For questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, contact us at help@becomly.app.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
Momentum Media AB is the data controller for personal data processed through Becomly. This means we determine why and how your personal data is processed.
Our technology providers and other service providers may process certain information on our behalf where necessary to operate Becomly.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Becomly, we may collect:
- Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, age and gender when you choose to provide them.
- Content you create, including your vision, goals, habits, journal entries, reflections, progress information and other information you choose to add to Becomly.
- Becomly Coach interactions, including messages you send to Becomly Coach and information from your Becomly account that is used to provide personalized coaching and insights.
- Usage and technical information, which may include information about how you interact with Becomly, device or browser information, logs and information required for security and reliable operation.
- Communications, including information you provide when contacting Becomly Support, submitting feedback or using our contact forms.
- Subscription and transaction information, if you purchase Becomly Pro. Payment information may be processed by the relevant app store or payment provider rather than directly by Becomly.
- Your email address when you voluntarily join the Becomly launch waitlist on our website.
We only ask you to provide information that is relevant to providing and improving the Becomly experience.
3. How we use your information
We may use your information to:
- create and manage your Becomly account;
- provide your vision boards, goals, habits, journal, progress tracking and other Becomly features;
- provide personalized Becomly Coach responses and Weekly Coach Insights;
- maintain, secure and troubleshoot Becomly;
- respond to support requests and feedback;
- manage Becomly Pro subscriptions and access;
- understand how our services are used and improve them;
- prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where GDPR applies, our processing is based on one or more lawful grounds, including performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Becomly, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where consent is required.
If you join the Becomly launch waitlist, we use the email address you provide to send you updates about Becomly's launch and related product news. This is separate from your Becomly account, and joining the waitlist does not create an account. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting help@becomly.app, and we will stop sending you these updates. We do not automatically add registered Becomly users or other email addresses to this list; joining is always your explicit choice.
4. Becomly Coach and artificial intelligence
Becomly includes AI-powered features, including Becomly Coach.
To provide personalized responses, Becomly Coach may process information you have added to Becomly, such as your goals, habits, progress, vision and journal reflections, when relevant to your request or coaching experience.
AI services may be provided through technology providers acting as subprocessors. Base44's current subprocessor directory includes providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic for large-language-model API calls.
Becomly Coach is designed as a personal development tool. Its responses should not be considered medical, psychological, legal or financial professional advice.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share or process information with trusted service providers where necessary to operate, secure and provide Becomly. These providers may perform services such as hosting, data storage, email delivery, analytics, logging and AI processing.
Becomly is currently built using Base44 infrastructure. Base44 acts as a data processor and may use subprocessors to provide its services. Its current directory includes MongoDB, Render, Google Cloud, SendGrid, OpenAI, Anthropic and other infrastructure and monitoring providers.
These providers are subject to contractual and data-protection requirements applicable to their processing.
We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process or a valid governmental request.
6. International data transfers
Some of the service providers used to operate Becomly may process information outside Sweden or the European Economic Area.
Where GDPR applies and personal data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards are used where required. Base44's DPA provides for mechanisms including adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable and European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How we protect your information
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
Base44 states that app data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Its platform is also SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified.
However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. We therefore encourage you to use a strong password and consider carefully what highly sensitive information you choose to enter into Becomly.
8. How long we keep your information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Becomly, maintain your account, meet our legal obligations and resolve disputes.
If you delete your account or request deletion of your personal data, we will delete or anonymize personal information where appropriate, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or security purposes.
Some information may remain temporarily in secure backups before being deleted through normal backup cycles.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
Under GDPR, these may include the right to:
- access personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your information;
- restrict certain processing;
- object to certain processing;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can contact help@becomly.app to exercise your privacy rights.
If you are located in Sweden, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
10. Children's privacy
Becomly is not intended for children under 13.
If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for a younger person to use an online service in their country, they should not use Becomly without the required consent.
If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
The Becomly website uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. We group these into two categories:
Necessary. These are required for the website to function, for security and for authentication when you sign in. Necessary technologies are always active and cannot be disabled.
Analytics. We use Base44 Analytics to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Analytics is optional and is off by default. It only begins after you explicitly allow it through the consent banner or Manage Cookies.
When you visit the Becomly website for the first time, we show a consent banner before any analytics technology is activated. You can choose “Accept analytics”, “Necessary only” or “Manage preferences”. Until you make a choice, no analytics session identifier is created.
You can review or change your choice at any time using the “Manage Cookies” link in the footer. If you turn Analytics off after previously allowing it, we disable future analytics collection and remove the analytics session identifier from your browser where technically appropriate and safe.
Your consent choice is stored in your browser as a preference record containing whether analytics is allowed, a consent version, and the date and time of your choice. This preference record is necessary to remember your decision and is stored without requiring analytics consent. It does not contain personal information beyond what is needed to remember your choice.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies on the Becomly website.
12. Third-party links
Becomly may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policies, and Becomly is not responsible for how those third parties process information.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Becomly develops or when legal or regulatory requirements change.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
